Laptop is a minimalistic compact portable personal computer that literally perform all the works that a normal desktop computers do. The computers now became a property that helps many people for learning, working and entertainment purposes.
But it is hard to choose a perfect laptop for a normal Family Man and students who have no knowledge about laptops to choose a perfect device for their purpose of work. For those people, consider this as a guide to choose your laptop.
There are many important aspects and factors to look if you are going to buy a laptop. Let’s see the specification details first. Every Electronic system needs a brain to function which is the processor. Without processor, no systems will work. There are some companies that offers various powerful processors. But the most popular and commonly used brands are Intel and AMD.
In Intel, there is a lineage of versions according to the launch date and power.
Let’s get it straight from I3 version. i3 processors are compatible to run a task or work at medium smoothness. But it is hard for it to run multiple tasks simultaneously. It also find it hard to run a single heavy task. For example, if you are going to work video/photo editing in your pc, i3 find it difficult to run because editing application will have lot of predetermined works within itself which makes the app to be on heavier side.
So i3 can’t run it smoothly but if you are going to learn something using lite apps then i3 will suit you perfectly.
Next version is the I5 processor. This processor is made to overcome the inabilities of the i3 processor. This one manages to fulfill the problems of i3. Multitasks can be performed well using processor. It can also run heavier apps smoothly. But it can’t push hard to its extent. It find it hard to run multiple apps if a heavy app is running in the background. It can run more lite apps simultaneously but it can’t run multiple heavy apps.
Next version is I7. It can run multiple heavy apps simultaneously. This one is built to overcome the difficulties faced by i5.
Recently launched version of intel processor is I9. This one is the best version of inter processors in current date.
From AMD. The most reliable Amd processors are the 4000 and 5000 series. The AMD4000 can be compared to i5 processors in abilities and the AMD5000 can be compared with i7 processors. However AMD processors are giving these in a lower price range compared to intel.
But AMD also manufactures high performance graphics card. It forms more powerful device when both the AMD processor and Graphics card combined.
Graphics Card.
If you are buying laptop for gaming purpose, then having an additional graphics card will be the best option. The additional graphics card is used to boost the graphic simulation of the device. Nvidia and AMD are two brands that are making Graphics card.
Both the brands are good at making graphics card. It is good not only for gaming, but also for videography purposes.
Ram and Storage.
Ram is a kind of storage that is allotted to keep the compressed version of the memory of an app. So it is better to have more Ram for multitasking. There are two types of storage SSD and HDD. HDD is a storage that has certain limitations for it. It may generate more cache file.
SSD is usually faster type of storage and it provide better performance comparatively. But usually SSD costlier than HDD.
Display.
The 12 inch and 14.5 inch are more compact than 15.6 inch. If you use your laptops during travel more often, then choosing smaller version is a wise option. There are various display options such as LCD display, Anti glare LCD display, IPS LCD display, etc., So choose
according to your needs and Budget. But don’t go for lesser pixel density than 1920 x 1080.
